| Comment / Qualities | Special D is a strongly developed, typy stallion with a rectangular shape. His neckline is well-formed and withers and shoulders are very well developed. Special D has strong loins with a well-applied hind leg. He is very willing to work with a good attitude. His walk is ground covering and far reaching rectangle and active, with a good usage of his body.
Special D's trot is very tactful and specious, has a super self-carriage with a lot of elevation and a good collection.
The proven combination of Ferro x G Ramiro produced the stallion Métall, the sire of Special D. Special D is supported on the dam's side by solid, proven bloodlines with quality movements, such as Zandigo, Farn, Doruto and Uron.
Grandam Aafke ("keur preferent"), produced in combination with Ferro the Grand Prix stallion Joeris, who is approved in France, a Light Tour horse in the USA and the UTV mare Gloriosa, a full sister of Haafke.
Special D's dam produced a stallion for the 3rd inspection in the year before.
Performance test end of 2002: Special D had a very good performance test with 8,5 points as ability for dressage horse. Special D is very to extremely talented as a dressage horse and gives his rider a very good feeling.
Special D has showed a collection foals which have extremely good movements. Generous developed foals with a reactangular shape. The walk is roomy and precise. The foals use in the trot a powerful hind, much take-off with a well brought under hindleg.
Special D 2003 considerable winner Pavo-Cup for 4-years! Stallion Competition 2003/2004 2nd place.
2004 Special D remarkable performance in Verden at the Worldchampionship with an average of 8,38. Stallion Competition 2004/2005 an 2nd place.
In 2005 Special D was under Diederik van Silfhout very succesfull on ZZ light level, with a lot of scores above 70%. Stallion Competition 2005/2006 an 2nd place.
