Every
Year throughout the world but predominantly in Europe a
wide selection of sport horse and warmblood stallions are
licensed each year, specially selected for conformation,
movement and/or jumping abilility but also based on the
success of the horses bloodlines within the pedigree.
With
so many stallions presented each year stallion commisioners
choose only to place their stamp of approval on a select
few confirming the philosophy of the stud book that the
stallion is to represent.
Many fall by the way side, sometimes brought about by premature
death, injury, failure to pass on desirable traits and some
quite simply never have the opportunity to meet up with
the right rider, whilst others leave a legacy of performance
progeny behind them. The stallions represented on this page
are a very small collection of some of the worlds finest
and most successful progenitors of sport horses aimed at
the Olympic disciplines of Dressage Show Jumping & Eventing
that have very much become the Elite Stallions of the century..
