The Story of ' RN Layal' Black Straight Egyptian Asil Arabian Stallion
Eventually Layal was imported to Vancouver Island from the Middle East in June 1999 arriving on Vancouver Island on the 8th of August 1999 where he has since settled in to his present home a small ranch located at the foot of Mount Prevost. Now home of Bev and MikeWood and their Daughter Rhianon. Tragically however whilst enjoying the freedom of his new pastures, Rn Layal, broke his Cannon bone in three places, he had not perceived the drop in a hidden stream bed and fell three meters. Remarkably however after four months of attentive care he regained full use of his leg and is now the agile and elegant mover that he once was prior to his accident. |

RN Layal is a highly intelligent stallion with a tolerant and sweet nature. He is a horse that one never tires of observing. There is a "head turning" presence to him and a way of looking totally different in small changes of light and position. His coat is tight and silky with it's own naturally produced sebaceous oil. He is typical of the Kuhaylan type horses who appear muscular, compact, and of symmetrical rounded outlines. Their silhouettes tend to flow from head to tail. They are deep in the chest and broad from the front and rear views.
